SCOTT ATTRILL |

|
Described by I-DJ as “The new king of hard dance” Scott finally delivers one of the most eagerly anticipated artist albums in his 15 year career as pioneer of the hard groove. As his alter ego ‘Vinylgroover’, he has consistently been pushing the boundaries of the harder side of dance music since the age of 15 as one of the leaders of the rave scene. With over 200 singles to his name & and a career that’s seen him play in all corners of the globe this is going to be one hot ticket! Not many can command the kind of respect and attention in the clubbing world than that of Scott. Pumped-up and twisted tech trance and hard dance anthems such as; ‘The Bleep’, ‘Microwave’, ‘Live For The Weekend’, ‘Midnight Express’ and ‘The Pod’ received national radio support and plays from a raft of worldwide superstar DJ’s. From Marco V to Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules to Lisa Lashes, Paul Van Dyk to Ferry Corsten, his tracks have been the sound of the main stage and the underground airwaves… ‘Bass Junkie’ is the first album to showcase his sound with the fulled mixed album on CD focusing on original productions with 5 of his biggest past anthems. 10 brand new tracks see Scott deliver his own trademark style alongside some unique collaborations with clubland heroes; BK, Ali Wilson, The Organ Donors, Greg Brookman and The Red Hed which create a unique journey into the world of tough twisted electric basslines, thrashing tech drums, euphoric breakdowns topped off with vocals packing plenty of attitude! It’s this theme that runs throughout this hard-floor epic… iThe album will be available in all good retail and Digital download stores from 19TH MAY 2008 | ||||

Simon Eve - DJ Magazine Issue 62 June 08 : Scott Attrill delivers three collaboration tracks lifted from his 'Bass Junkie' artist album, with pick of the bunch being 'Klubbin', the Ali Wilson partnership that lays down an infectious tech trance rhythm and big stabs together with a standout speech about the effects of clubbing similar style to 'Lost For The Weekend' - something dancefloors can relate to on many levels! Also impressive is 'Dirtbox' with BK, a dark and dirty stomper of big rasping synth bursts along the same lines as their earlier 'Microwave' collaboration, while Greg Bookman completes the package in the bass fuelled 'Heavy'. Three big tracks on the 'Bass Junkie EP' provide hard dance fans with the fix they're looking for - hunt it down! Rating: 5/5 (Money Shot)
“An
essential album for those desperate to know what the future sounds
like."
